Coronavirus Symptom Checker

This past year has been very complex with COVID-19 raising its head in the early part of the year and it is due to this current challenge that MMSS ‘The HUB” has been closed to activities from Monday 16th November 2020 and will remain closed to the public, visitors, room bookings and activities pending the COVID situation improving.  The HUB however, will remain open for emergency relief and Centrelink Services only.

The HUB will re-open to the public on Monday 4th January 2021.

You will notice that our workers will wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when interacting with consumers if and when required. This may include gloves and masks, hand sanitiser at workplaces, in vehicles and with workers attending residences.

When accessing services you may be asked a series of questions EG: “are you in good health” . We also will ask you to assist us by maintaining the required 1.5 M social distancing rules and other general precautionary actions like regular hand washing with soap and coughing/sneezing into your elbow etc.

MMSS will continue to provide Emergency Relief Services at our Community Centre ‘The HUB’ and be a source of information for vulnerable people within our community. If you need to access this service, it is essential that you call the centre prior to attending. This will allow us the opportunity to ask required questions for everyone’s safety and confirm your eligibility for this support.

We understand that this time can create further stress for many, already isolated, members of our community. During this uncertain time please also check on your own elderly/ vulnerable/ disabled neighbours and friends. Please Keep following our page, as we will look to provide further support and trusted information to our community!

If you are concerned about a possible risk re COVID-19 please contact
