A particular highlight was an insightful presentation on breast care by Annie from The McGrath Foundation, who covered self-awareness, screening, and seeking support. In another heartwarming event, the "Noonies" group gathered for a creative Crafternoon, designing personalised frames. The activity, featuring markers, gel pens, and glittery embellishments, was a hit among participants. The delightful backdrop of 50s and 60s music had everyone singing along, adding to the atmosphere of friendship and laughter. The day was a testament to the joy of crafting and community bonding.
Our monthly bus trip for May took participants on an exciting journey filled with laughter and fun. The adventure began with a delightful morning tea at the Bridgeport Hotel and a thrilling shopping stop at the Salvos Op Shop. The day concluded with a delicious lunch and a lively visit to the Murray Bridge Greyhound Races. The trip was a fantastic experience, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.
